Women Entrepreneurs Who Say "I Have an Idea" Were Awarded

Under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), which carries out its activities for women entrepreneurs to take an active role in the business world, the winners of the 'Women Entrepreneurship Camp Award Project Competition' organized in cooperation with TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Board were awarded. Speaking at the ceremony, BTSO Chairman İbrahim Burkay said, "We need a quality growth where investment and exports will contribute more to economic growth."

The Women's Entrepreneurship Camp Award Project Competition organized with the theme "I Have an Idea" was concluded. Women entrepreneurs who received training in the 2-day camp organized in April and presented their projects to the jury members received their awards.


President Burkay stated that as BTSO, they continue to lead the country's goals by bringing young, educated, open to technology and innovation entrepreneurs to the economy and said, "Bursa, the city of industry, is also an entrepreneurial city. We are in an intense effort with our young and women entrepreneur boards to mobilize this potential. We need to bring new entrepreneurs who will realize the dreams of Bursa and Turkey into our economy. In this sense, we will continue to stand by our women and young entrepreneurs."

Bursa Acting Governor Ergun Güngör thanked BTSO and TOBB Bursa Women Entrepreneurs Board for drawing a road map for the innovative ideas of women entrepreneurs. Stating that business life needs women with strong foresight, Güngör said, "Because it is a blessing for our women to be entrepreneurs at every point of life. I congratulate all our women who have ideas that show their civilized courage by participating in the competition."



After the speeches, the award ceremony started. First, BTSO Chairman İbrahim Burkay and Assembly President Remzi Topuk presented plaques to the jury members for their contributions. Gökçe Aktaş won the first prize in the Women Entrepreneurship Camp Award Project Competition. Aktaş also won the grand prize of 10 thousand TL. Aslı Karakaya, who came second in the competition 5000 TL, and Züleyha Bulut, who came in third, was awarded 2500 TL. Seda Acar and Nazlı Koktay took the stage in the honorable mention category with their projects.

In her award speech, our company founder Aslı Karakaya told the story of the establishment of our brand, the first products we exported to the United States and the universal importance of global trade.
